Jr .Web Developer in Hopkins, Minnesota

Vertical Systems is seeking a highly motivated Microsoft .NET developer to work on a wide range of custom software applications. This position will be involved in the full range of activities and responsibilities within the software development lifecycle, from concept to implementation support.
The position is an excellent opportunity to gain a wide-range of experiences in mobile/handheld, HTML5, ASP.NET, VB, C#, and related technologies.  The ideal candidate will have a high level of project commitment, a desire to learn, excellent client communication skills combined with strong technical and problem solving skills.
 
Responsibilities: 
Develop state-of-the-art multiple tier applications including server, web, PC, and mobile applications (ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, SQL Server, Web Services, HTML5, .NET Compact Framework)
Perform system testing and data conversions on projects
Provide production support for implemented applications, primarily during business hours
Required:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field experience required1
Experience in Microsoft .Net technologies (ASP, VB and/or C#)
Experience with a relational database (SQL)
Strong skills in Object Oriented design and development
Ability to think logically, communicate clearly, and be well organized
Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment  
Preferred:
Experience with any of the following technologies: iPhone, iPad, Android, HTML5, IIS, jQuery, jQuery Mobile
Other helpful experience:  Javascript, PHP, Objective C, XML, DevExpress Controls, UI design, Creative design
